Food Editors Take on Boulder & Denver
The Almond Board of California’s Boulder & Denver Food Trends Tour, held May 10-12, 2017, showcased some of the most creative and innovative ways local chefs and food and beverage product developers are using California almonds in recipes or finished products. Editors from eight food and beverage publications traveled to Colorado for the two-day tour that consisted of 16 stops at trending restaurants and manufacturing facilities to see and taste all things almonds. On the finished goods side, Food Insider Journal had the opportunity to meet with eight companies using the versatile almond as an ingredient to create healthy and nutritious foods sold at retail.
